- Summer Sermon Series – Wildfires
The Holy Spirit: a biblical journey from Genesis to Revelation
This summer, we’re immersing ourselves in the person and work of the Holy Spirit: from the first verses of Genesis, to the last verses of Revelation. Often the ‘forgotten’ part of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit is there at Creation, and also at the climax of the New Creation, throughout history revealing the reality of God’s presence and power to the world. Alongside our Sunday teaching, there are Daily Inspirations on the church website Monday-Saturday, to take you deeper on the journey throughout this whole ‘Pentecost’ season.
So, let’s celebrate the ‘Wildfire’ of the Holy Spirit, and continue to welcome His presence in our lives today!

Our regular Zoom Prayer Meeting, Online Intercessions, meets every Tuesday at 7pm, and we would love you to join us! We run for an hour, but if you are only able to be there for part of the time, you are still very welcome. No experience necessary! Come along and give it a go. Please do feel free to share prayer requests via email or in person, or via the new prayer cards in the Prayer Request box in church. We are able to keep prayer requests anonymous during the meeting if you prefer.
- Open Church
Our church will be open every Thursday afternoon 3 – 4pm to welcome visitors and for private prayer. All are welcome to pop in.
From 23rd July, there will be the opportunity to join an in-person prayer meeting in the vestry between 3.15 and 3.45 on Thursdays. Everyone is invited.
- Summer Cleaning Support
As our regular cleaner is away for much of August, we are asking if anyone has an hour or two to give to make our beautiful church building ready for services. We need help with cleaning at some point during the week before the services on 9th, 16th, and 23rd August.
If you would like to offer your help with this, please speak to Pat in church or send an email to allsaintsmk@gmail.com to let us know when you might be available. Thank you so much for your help! - New exhibition – send in your photos!
The title for our current exhibition is ‘Inspirations’ and you can now view the beautiful submissions here.
We are ready to plan our new exhibition, which will be entitled: The Sun in all its moods. Given the weather we have had this summer, you should have plenty of ideas! Any type of art, craft, or photography is welcome. Please send a good quality photo of your work to waltonartsandcrafts@gmail.com.

- Coffee Morning
Join us at All Saints on Friday 7th August between 10 and 11.30am
for coffee, chat, and cake. - Confidential Prayer Chain
Our prayer chain is available to anyone who needs to request prayer – either for themselves, for a loved one or someone they know. If you have an urgent prayer need and would like to be supported in prayer, we have a group of people at church committed to pray for any needs which arise. All requests will be treated in strict confidence, kept within the group and anonymised if you wish it. Just send your request via email (prayerchain.mkv@gmail.com) and we will send it out to all who support the prayer chain. Prayer Chain members do not know who the other members are, so anything shared is never discussed in other places or between prayers. If you’d like additional pastoral support, please contact the Pastoral Team or clergy separately.
