  • Big Basics

Big Basics, our group for 14 – 18 years olds starts back next Sunday, 1st February from 4.00 – 5.30 pm, for a new Spring series called “Faith Confirmed”. It’s for everyone who took part in last Autumn’s programme, and also forms the preparation course for those 14-18s who may be interested in baptism and/ or confirmation this year.

It runs fortnightly from 1st Feb – 29th March with a break for Easter, then until 31st May.  Please note that we have a new venue this term – this first meeting and the others until Easter will be in Milton Keynes Village Hall, starting at 4.00pm. If you would like any further information do talk to Rev. Alison, or to Julian Drury, or to Dom Elliott

  • Churchyard Maintenance

We are proud of our beautiful churchyard, which is cared for by a dedicated team of volunteers. As spring approaches, we would like to be able to spread the tasks a little wider.

We operate a mowing rota throughout the growing season (March to October) with pairs of volunteers allocated two week blocks. Pairs can work together or divide the mowing between them and work alone at times to suit themselves to complete one cut of the churchyard sometime within the two weeks. We have two mowers available at the church.

If you would be able to join the mowing team, we, and all of the other members of the team, would be very grateful. Please speak to Pat or Barny or email us at welcometowalton@gmail.com.

There are other, less regular, jobs that need doing over the summer ...

  • Missed a Week?

If you don’t make it to church, you can always catch up with an abridged recording of our weekly service here.

  • Diocesan Consultation

7th January begins the process of seeking views from across the Diocese as we look for a new Bishop, following Bishop Steven’s retirement announcement.

A document called a Statement of Needs will set out information about the Diocese, including its hopes and challenges, and what people have told us is important to them in a new Bishop.

The Diocese has created a short, anonymous survey that will be the main way they ask for views and opinions to be included in the Statement of Needs. The survey features four questions and will take less than ten minutes to complete. The link to the survey is: https://oxford.anglican.org/consultation
