- Our Theme for this Sunday
This Sunday Bishop Dave will lead us and encourage us to begin the journey.
- Pilgrim Walk
To celebrate the week of prayer for Christian Unity – we will rerun (sorry rewalk!) of our journey which was such a success last year.
Join us as we travel from St. Marys in Wavendon to All Saints via Christ the King in Kents Hill on Saturday 24th January.

- Diocesan Consultation
7th January begins the process of seeking views from across the Diocese as we look for a new Bishop, following Bishop Steven’s retirement announcement.
A document called a Statement of Needs will set out information about the Diocese, including its hopes and challenges, and what people have told us is important to them in a new Bishop.
The Diocese has created a short, anonymous survey that will be the main way they ask for views and opinions to be included in the Statement of Needs. The survey features four questions and will take less than ten minutes to complete. The link to the survey is: https://oxford.anglican.org/consultation

- Our Sunday Sermon Series
We like the word ‘disciple’ – but many of us aren’t sure what it means. In fact, if we were translating the bible today, we would use the word ‘apprentice’ – someone who follows the Boss, learning on the job under their expert guidance. In this case Jesus is the Boss, and you could summarise the whole journey of faith as:
To be with Jesus
To become like him
To do as he did
This term, we’ll be doing just that – investing in order to develop as Jesus’ apprentices. On Sundays, we’ll think about 9 practices (what we used to call ‘spiritual disciplines’) to help us grow our spiritual strength and follow Jesus day-by-day, throughout the week.
We’ll also be offering ‘apprentice groups’ around our team ...
- Bishop of Buckingham to lead our service
Bishop Dave Bull will be leading our service next Sunday 11th January
- Online exhibition
Our latest online exhibition on the theme of Advent, Christmas and Epiphany is now live here.
This year, we launched a brand new vision for All Saints.
