  • Wendy Riley Funeral

    Wendy’s funeral will be at 2pm on Thursday at Crownhill crematorium.

  • World Day of Prayer

    We will be celebrating the annnual World Day of Prayer at 7:30pm on 6th March at St. Mary’s in Wavendon. This year we will be praying for Nigeria.

  • Big Basics – Faith Confirmed

    Our group for 14-18 year olds meets on Sunday 15th Feb to discuss the theme of Jesus’ Life, Ministry, Death and Resurrection.

  • New Exhibition

    The theme for our next exhibition is Rest. As always, please feel free to interpret the theme however it catches your imagination. Exhibits can be in any medium; please send a good quality photo to waltonartsandcrafts@gmail.com.

  • Big Basics

    Big Basics, our group for 14 – 18 years olds starts back next Sunday, 1st February from 4.00 – 5.30 pm, for a new Spring series called “Faith Confirmed”. It’s for everyone who took part in last Autumn’s programme, and also forms the preparation course for those 14-18s who may be interested in baptism and/ or confirmation this year. 

    It runs fortnightly from 1st Feb – 29th March with a break for Easter, then until 31st May.  Please note that we have a new venue this term – this first meeting and the others until Easter will be in Milton Keynes Village Hall, starting at 4.00pm.   • Church Restoration Update

    The stonemasons have finished repairing the pinnacle at the North East corner of the church and the decorative stonework on the plain window in the chancel. They have also repaired some stonework on the tower parapet and repaired the plaster of the nave and vestry ceilings as well as replacing some missing roof tiles.

    This means that all of the high priority works identified at the last Architect’s inspection are complete, using up all of our available funds. The lower priority repair and maintenance work (approximately £20,000) will be completed as funds allow and we hope to seek grant funding to match anything we raise to cover some of this.
