Ride + Stride is a sponsored bike ride and walk on 12th September, visiting churches around Milton Keynes, which raises money for Bucks Historic Churches Trust. Half the money raised by us comes back to our church directly, and the Trust has supported us in the past.
Several members from our church are attempting the challenging 26-mile circuit, and currently we have one person doing the shorter route 14-mile route. A number of walkers are going to take on a bespoke local route. You can also choose your own walking or cycling route around local churches, if you would prefer that.
Please sign up on the list and pick up a sponsor form in church if you would like to take part.
If you don’t fancy riding or striding round the churches, please do support the event by:
1) Sponsoring one of our cyclists or walkers. To sponsor online, you can click here.
2) Volunteering for one of the slots staffing church to welcome riders and provide cold drinks. There is currently one spot unstaffed, so do volunteer to cover it if you are free.
