Ride + Stride is a sponsored bike ride and walk, visiting churches around Milton Keynes, that raises money for Buckingham Historic Churches Trust. Half the money raised by us comes back to our church directly.
Milton Keynes has one of the longest possible Ride + Stride routes at 26 miles, with an expected 5 hour duration, and 3 members from our church are attempting it! At the moment, we have one person doing the shorter route.
2 walkers are going to follow our special route around the Willen Lake area.
You can also choose your own walking or cycling route around local churches, if you would like to take part but go individually.
The date of the event is Saturday 12th September.
If you don’t fancy riding or striding round the churches, you can still support the event by:
1) Sponsoring one of the cyclists or walkers. To sponsor online, you can click here.
2) Volunteering for one of the slots staffing church to welcome riders and provide cold drinks.
